Tulip Prickly Pear Texas Flower Sticker

Texas is a vast state divided into 10 ecological regions. Surprising to most non-natives, not all of these regions include cacti. However the beautiful Prickly Pear cactus (aka Optunia Phaeacantha) graces several regions. This is an original illustration of the flower of a Tulip Prickly Pear based on a photograph I took on a trail near Inks Lake State Park. Fun fact, most prickly pear plants are edible; fruit, flower and paddle.
